Blue Coolers 2.0 - Summer Bundle - 55Q + 30Q

This is not a huge problem, but the lock sent with my cooler Is too little to fit through the holes. In fact, I have not found any size metal lock that can get past the thick rim in order to even get to the holes. A cable is the only thing flexible enough to work, but most of them are too long.

The cooler looks nice, very sturdy, solid construction, but doesn’t work that much better than my $70 Coleman. I put beverages in there, add 2 bags of ice and within hours 70% of it has melted away. Then I add more, and then that bag stays solid for a day or so, everything is cold, but there’s a lot of water. Once it gets cold it holds the ice better, but after 3 days it was all water. The advertisement says “Keeping ice Up to 10days” well I guess 1-2 is “up to”

I bought this to replace a first generation 80 quart. The 80 was great but it was too tall to fit under my truck bed lid. I sold it to a Buddy who will use it deer hunting this fall. This 55 quart fits under the lid and is still big enough for large items from Costco or BevMo. Solid construction and it stays cold forever if you do your part and pre cool the chest before adding the contents. Even without any pre cooling it does a great job of handling routine ice chest duties. It is a great addition to my 25 quart Blue Cooler. I would not waste my time or money with any other brand.
