What are the best coolers on the market? What are the best coolers for camping? What about the best coolers for hunting? What are the best coolers for the money? There are SO MANY ice chests out there that sorting through them is nearly impossible, which is why we dove into this project and did this review. We wanted to help you find the absolutely best coolers for camping, hunting, the beach, and other outdoor activities.
Our goal was to determine which ones are the best coolers for the money, which is the best cooler for game meat (when you are fortunate enough to harvest a big game animal), and what size cooler works best for different activities. In particular, we were curious to find out what the best cooler would be for hunting – one that would fit an entire elk or an entire deer inside.
We’ll dive deep into how each of these coolers performed, their functions and usability, and what the overall best value is for the coolers we tested.
