This cooler is used on a work boat every day! It keeps ice well for days at a time.
It holds ice if you don’t open the cooler. But if you do that your better off with a less expensive cooler so you can use the product your cooling. Just add ice as needed.
Took this camping for the first time the past weekend in Michigan's UP. Held ice and kept food cool for 4 days no problem and could have held the ice and cold for plenty more days. The organizer basket has been far more useful than I thought it would. Its heavy, as they all are, but I think it'll hold up well. I love the latch design far more than comparable RTIC / Yeti style. Love my cooler so far.
Very sturdy construction and ice retention is pretty good. If you pre cool and leave the lid closed it will retain ice for several days. I have the 25qt, it’s good size to put in the boat for a full day of fishing. Picture is ice retention after about 36 hours. Cooler was in the cab of my truck and outside temps were in the 90s.
