My brother jokes that he owns the .01 prototype and has had it near ten years and absolutely loves his Blue cooler. I was in the market for a ten day cooler and he said his cooler more than holds its own against all the other ‘trendy brands.’ He does a lot of offshore fishing so I took his word for it.
I have only have my cooler about 2 months but have been very impressed with ice retention. I have not used it for a long fishing trip or camping trip yet, but have used it for a couple of back yard BBQs. I’ll come back to the cooler mid week and it still has ice in it. I bought the divider/cutting board and dry foods basket for it and those 2 things have come in extremely handy.
Will have to say very nice cooler, bought the orange scratch and dent model, had nothing wrong with it. I looked it over and over could not fine anything. Great deal great price very high quality. Ended up giving it to a friend for his 50th has used it several times in the water on his boat says he loves it holds ice for days in the Florida heat with being in and out of it. Trust me you can’t/will not go wrong with this purchase. Thanks blue for making an awesome product. For an awesome price.
It actually did have a small dent and funky smell but the dent is barely noticeable and the smell went away pretty fast. I would definitely recommend this option if you are on the fence.

It has plenty of room and like the other features I added just wish the ice held a bit better over the corse of 7 days I bought around 100 lbs of ice to keep drinks cool I know opening and closing and replacing drinks take a toll and granted it was hot but I was hoping it would do better.
The other thing I wish was they would have an upgrade on the wheels so you can get more clearance when pulling. And the lock sort of a waste of time. But everything else really wasn’t to bad love the handle cutting board divider also added the light. The drain in pretty nice don’t have to oven all the way to drain so less chance of losing then I expected but I did get extra of those as well do to all the reviews.
The divider is great for separating the adult/kids beverages. Once the ice turns into water and drinks start floating around, the divider is huge to us.
