Really like this cooler. Keeps drinks and food cold and ice lasts. I have used this cooler a couple of times on camping trips when I needed a slightly smaller cooler to put in the back of my side by side and it was perfect.
So the description sounds great, the size of the cooler also great.. The let down was the wall thickness.. I was expecting the sought after thickness like the cobalt 25.. but that's not the case. Infact, IDK that I couldn't have purchased the same cooler at an academy or other merchandise store for less. Perhaps a Coleman or igloo.. I have a ranch and have the strong need for a effective and efficient cooler. Ice doesn't really last in this one for more than a few hours, not 3 days
DON'T have it shipped with FedEx! I was charged for a cooler I never received. Blue Coolers, fed Ex and US Bank did not support my claim, so much for customer satisfaction. Three weeks later someone texted me 4 blocks away, the cooler was on their porch (they had been on vacation) it was missed delivered. Thanks to their honesty, I have my cooler, but to no thanks to anyone else!!
I own a couple of larger coolers, both root molded and electric. This cooler gives the excellent insulation and durability of root molded in a smaller package, more suitable for a road trip or weekend getaway. I was able to hit a sale, and scored one for $89 (+ tax) Even at $100-$150, it’s still a bargain, compared to the more well known brands, named after abominable snowmen.
I retorted not receiving my order and their response was to tell me it would take a couple of months to figure out what happened. My trip also happened and I still haven't heard anything from them about my missing order. Order and expect no support if something goes wrong.
I can't believe how long I waited to buy a roto-molded cooler due to them being so expensive and I needed a smaller cooler. Then I found Blue Coolers, the price was better and I read about them and the reviews. I question the validity of some of the reviews. I used the cooler one time and haven't used it again. I took it on a road trip. I prepped it with ice ahead of time and then put fresh ice in for the ride. It was in an AIR CONDITIONED car and the ice literally melted in about 2 hrs!! Absolutely ridiculous. I have an Igloo non-roto mold cooler and it keeps ice for days on the front porch!! I'm woefully disappointed and aggravated. I honestly feel like they didn't even put insulation in it! Did I get a defective one? I will never buy another one of these coolers. Oh and I use coolers all the time, so a total waste of money. I have had MANY coolers over my lifetime and as I said my Igloo cooler blasted the "roto-molded" cooler away. $200 out the door!
